Eating out?

The village of Finestrat is a 10 min walk (1km) from the house and offers a large choice of food options:-

We have a  lovely pizza and burger house and 4 Spanish bars that offer honest food at amazing prices. Just on the edge of town you have a high class restaurant called Al Morano which has established a name as one of the best restaurants in the area.

The beach can offer more options if you take the car, fish restaurants right on the sea front with “menu of the day” options from only 7 euros. An Irish bar if you fancy steak and chips or a Chinese with great deals from only 5 euros.

For a taste of real Spain we always recommend a trip into the old town of Benidorm. Head to the old quarter and ask for the “tapas bar” they are not cheap but are a real treat. Order from the glass screen in front and throw your rubbish on the floor, not to be missed. However, if you crave a curry then you can also find Nahwabs from Huddersfield in the new quarter.

For an extra special night out then a trip a little further to Altea to the North or Alicante to the South should be made. Altea on a warm evening up in the church square makes you realise that you are really on Holiday and Alicante old town and port is a great taste of Mediteranean life.

Of course you can eat in each night if you want, the two kitchens are fully equipped and the BBQ is available just outside on the terrace with the amazing view of Puig and the village. “THE BEST” view on the Costa Blanca.
