Hi Sam, we just wanted to say thanks to you both for everything last week. We had a great time and learnt a lot from everyone that will help us climb with more confidence as well as help with us other sports and work as well. I don’t think we will ever take climbing seriously but it was still great to learn from people with so much experience and fun to be around. Hope you guys are having fun back in the UK.

Cheers,

Five unforgettable days of climbing. The skills of the skilled, the experience of the experienced and the feeling of safety that goes with the serious mind has allowed me to fully enjoy the ignorance of the novice!

I have climbed routes I would never have thought I could and on the way forgot all about the world around me.  Can there be a better way to recreate? I don´t think so.

I hope The Orange House stays the way it is for a very long time.

Happy new year.  I have been meaning to send a quick email to say thanks for a great stay at the OH before Christmas.  Tori and Paul are doing a great job and made us feel very welcome.  My clients also thought the house was great with a really good atmosphere.  Hope to use the house again in the not too distant future.

Thanks again Paul  PEAK MOUNTAINEERING

Awesome place. Been to this area before but hadn´t scratched the surface. The Orange Team showed the way!

Did some of the best routes I have ever done, and seen some even more better ones – I´ll be back.

Big thanks to those at The Orange House for making this trip something a bit special.

Hi Sam/Rich

Just wanted to say thanks. Although i had some problems with vertigo which i have no doubt that i will work though, i had a great time. I was surprised at how much i learned in 3 days. I was at Craggy this morning and cracked two routes that i have been trying for ages to complete, one of them for nearly three months, was as easy as taking a walk in the park. OK, maybe not quite that easy but putting Rich’s advice into practise defiantly cracked it.

Looking forward to a summer of getting out on rock and im sure i will be coming back to you so Rich can help me take my climbing to the next level. Thanks  Mark

What a day it was!!! My husband can´t believe the bruises and thinks I am mad showing them off as badges of bravery!! Perhaps not entirely “enjoyable” but something equally as important… challenging and immensely rewarding…maybe that counts as enjoyable, then?

I look forward to a return holiday. Your company on the crag was wonderful… thank you for your support and good advice.

Hi Sam, Rich
Sorry it’s taken me a few days to write and Thank you for a fantastic time. You were incredibly welcoming and my time on the island couldn’t have been more relaxing and stress free, (except nearly missing the Ferry off the island, the gang plank gets removed half hour before it sails, luckily I just caught the car ramp!)
Extremely pleased to have made it up and down The Old Man, thank you Rich for facilitating that for me and de-puking all the birds :o ) I hope you have had some more great days with the other clients and more importantly I hope you, Sam, have stood on the top now too! Thank you again, Best wishes, Sophie

Hi Sam,
Hope you are well.
I am writing to tell you we had a great time at ’ the orange house ‘.
The house was everything you said it would be .
Perfect for a large family.
Although i do think you let yourself down a bit by not telling us about the view !
THAT BLOODY GREAT MOUNTAIN IS STUNNING !
To be able to sit out by the bbq in the evenings was a real pleasure.
We never got bored of looking up there as every day the view changed, it really felt that the bbq area was the perfect place to sit and take it all in.

Ben Browne Portland one to one guiding

I thought you might like to know that I’ve really taken on board all the tips you imparted during the coaching weekend I had with you at Portland in December. I’ve managed to put it all to good use and in the last few weeks at Brean down, I’ve climbed a 6a+ onsight and redpointed 2 6b+s and a 6c! The most important lesson was the methodical and structured approach to preparing for each climb. It’s now second nature and really helps me get in the right frame of mind.

Anyway. Thought you might like to know that your coaching appears to have worked wonders!
